What Gas courses do we offer?

CMDDA1
This course is structured for those gas engineers who attend calls regarding Carbon Monoxide Alarms.

Commercial Changeover – CODNC01
This course is for those who would like to carryout gas work on commercial premises and working on gas pipes over 35mm. This is a changeover course for those who hold a valid domestic CCN1 qualification and would like to convert it so that they could work on commercial premises.

Commercial Gas Boilers up to 150 KW – CIGA
This course is for those who would like to carryout Installation, Commissioning, Servicing and Repairing of gas boilers in commercial premises. With this qualification in hand you can issue Safety certificates in commercial premises.

Commercial Gas Pipework First Fix – ICPN1
If you will be working on gas pipework that has a diameter more than 35mm you will need to have a specialised qualification so that you can carry out installation, repairing and maintenance on such pipework. This is a recommended course if you will be undertaking the commercial gas boiler course and most commercial boiler have gas pipework that have pipe sizes above 35mm.

Pipework Skills
If you would like to take on a gas engineering course and you don’t have the basic cutting, bending and joining pipework skills it will be a recommendation to take on this course, as is part of the final gas assessment before you register with Gas Safe Register.

Pathway To Gas Training
This is a recognised qualification for those who are willing to take on a career in gas but don’t hold the relevant qualification to be able to proceed into gas. This course is the one to start with to gain the knowledge of what would be requirement from you as a Gas Safe Registered Engineer according to the Gas Regulations.

Initial Gas ACS CCN1 Assessment
This is an assessment for those who have either completed the Pathway to Gas Training (also known as APL) or for those who hold a relevant NVQ qualifications in Plumbing or Heating and Ventilation. This assessment based on the Gas Safety regulations on the safety when working with domestic gas appliances.

Initial Gas ACS CCN1 Training
This course is for those who hold the relevant plumbing NVQ qualifications and would like to do become a gas engineer but has no or basic knowledge about the gas regulations, then this is the right course for you to begin with and because you have a relevant NVQ qualification in Plumbing or Heating and Ventilation then you don’t have to do the work based Portfolio.

Initial Gas Specialised Appliances
Once you have completed your CCN1 assessments then you would need to do this course which is the elements. With this qualification you can choose with how many appliances you want to be qualified in. we offer a total of 6 domestic appliances.

Reassessment ACS Refresher Course
This is a refresher course for those whose ACS Qualification has expired and they would like training on the recent updates on the regulations then this is the course for you. This training will also prepare you for your theory and practical assessments.

Reassessment CCN1 Assessment
If you hold a CCN1 qualification that is about to or has expired and you would like to renew your qualification so that you can still maintain your registration with Gas Safe Register, then this is the right assessment for you.

Reassessment Appliances Assessment
If you hold qualification in domestic appliances such as gas boilers, cookers etc. that is about to or has expired and you would like to renew your qualification so that you can still maintain your registration with Gas Safe Register, then this is the right assessment for you.
