    This Part L energy efficiency course is focused on providing plumbers, gas engineers and renewable energy installers knowledge around energy efficiency in the home relating to heating systems. Our energy efficiency training is mainly focused on Part L building regulations and will enable you to provide advice on heating systems including boiler sizing and the use of the correct heating controls.
    This knowledge will allow you to advise customers if they need to upgrade any part of their system to meet the Part L requirements. It will also enable you to self-certify your own work.

    This knowledge will allow you to advise customers if they need to upgrade any part of their system to meet the Part L requirements. It will also enable you to self-certify your own work.
    This energy efficiency training course is mainly focused on heating & hot water controls, insulation and energy saving for the home. After attending this course a plumber and heating engineer will be able to advise customers on the efficiency of their controls, confirm if their controls meet current standards and advise them if they need to upgrade.
    You will also learn to correctly size replacement boilers and give advice to customers on how best to conserve their household energy.
    You will learn about the Part L building regulations and this course will prepare you to self-certify your work. Your certification will be recognised by Gas Safe Register. This will increase the range of services that you can offer.
    Building regulations require that all plumbers fitting condensing boilers should be compliant with document L. This course will also contribute to MCS approval should you seek it.

    – Importance of SEDBUK when choosing a new boiler.
    – Principles of a condensing boiler.
    – Minimum standards for the installation or replacement of hot water cylinders
